Sustainable Blue Economy Conference

The Sustainable Blue Economy conference was a global conference that focused on the potential of our oceans and waterways to improve the lives of all. It took place in Nairobi, Kenya from November 26 to 28, 2018. The 3 days event was a success with
18,810 participants from 184 countries around the globe.

Our team worked with Fisheries and Oceans and the Government of Kenya to create a professional and world-class website. ColourCoding Media also created infographics, social media graphics, reports, handbooks, event banners, presentations and more to support the conference.

Graphic Design

We’ve design this media handbook to be used by the media during the event. The handbook contained details about the events structure and media guidelines.

Graphic Design

We’ve designed the first report following the event which provided details on outcomes, successes, and statistics on the events.

Banners

We’ve created a series of small and large banners to be displayed at the Conference. Banners were used to represent Canada as a co-host, used as backdrop for speakers and events, photo opts, to promote sustainable initiatives such as Oceans Sole and more. Prior to the conference, they were also used at other conference events such to as the UN climate conference in New York city in September 2018.

Infographics

We created an overarching infographic to support the event’s messaging. We also created a series of “Did You Know” infographics with compelling statistics that were shared widely on social medias.
